Will I lose audio quality converting MP4 to MP3?

What bitrate should I use?
192 kbps for spoken word, podcasts, interviews, and voice memos — clear audio, small files (~1.4 MB per minute). 256 kbps for music, YouTube audio, or video soundtracks — excellent quality. 320 kbps if you want the best possible result from the source. Does this work with screen recordings?
